Miss was a teacher who dreamt of becoming one and establishing her own school ever since she can remember. Her place of origin isn't exactly disclosed, as the information found about it is often contradictory. She often does not give clear indications of it, and sometimes describes it as a location too far away to explain. In any case, wherever she arrived from, it is clear that she resided with her grandmother, whom she occasionally called to check on her welfare. Miss had shown to be considerate, patient, dedicated and passionate.
According to the script, Miss Magnificent had a small section of the show where she would read and answer question that would be sent through letters to the show's postal address. The writers chose which letters would be answered in said section. At the start of it, Eddie Dear either arrived with the mail, or it would already be on Miss's desk. It was normal for her to not only appear on her classroom, but on the schools library, laboratory, art classroom and even in the school yard, giving a hint on the topic she'd give an answer to. These explanations ofien came with visual examples, such as writings on the blackboard, experiments, games, images and pre-recorded videos.
Previously, letters were written via phone calls to the now out-of-service telephone number, however, this process became overwhelming due to the number of calls.
